Biography
Lara is a vivacious and positive television host whose relatable energy infectiously leaps through the screen.
As an entertainment reporter she works red carpets, live events and press junkets and has interviewed everyone from Michael Caine to Perez Hilton.
Her stories currently air on “The Weekend Gamer”, “Indie Express”, “Take 5” and on the Jewish Television Network.
Lara hosted USC’s award-winning, 30-minute live, TV talk-show, “CU@USC” for two years, winning the network’s highest honor, ‘Best On-Air Talent.’ On that show, Lara’s versatility got a chance to shine as she conversed as easily with foreign dignitaries, business men and techies as with refugess, children and artists.
Lara graduated in May ’08 with her Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from USC’s Annenberg School of Journalism and is a published magazine writer. Lara received her BFA in acting from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and worked as a professional actress in NY theaters for several years before moving to Los Angeles.
Lara’s commitment to putting positive messages into the world was highlighted when the “Intuitive Eating Peer Group” she founded and continues to lead, was featured in “O,” Oprah magazine. Lara has written 5 children’s books that teach life lessons through simple stories.
Lara ultimately aims to host a talk show where she can use her talents to help people reach their highest potential.
